For this edit, I decreased the saturation to -100. I then used the adjustment brush to increase the saturation and clarity on certain parts of the picture; the shop name, the boxes, the outline of the shop. I have used the same style of editing that I did with my pre-shoot edits, as I think it makes certain aspects of the photo more clear because they stand out as they are the only parts that are in colour. This links back to one of the photographers that I looked at at the beginning of this project.

I decided to make another edit of this photo because as much as I like the first edit, I thought I've done rather a lot of edits where only certain things are coloured. So, for this edit, the first thing I did was crop the photo. I then used the spot removal tool to get rid of the no smoking sign. I used the tone curve to change the light, dark and shadow tones. I then increased the clarity and the vibrance, but made the saturation a lower amount. Then I used the contrast tool and increased to +100 to add more colour to it.

I used the spot removal tool to cut out some things that were on the floor. I then used the adjustment brush to increased the clarification to the shop signs. I then increased the saturation and the vibrance which increases the colours.

The first thing I edited in this image was that I cropped the imaged and changed the angle of it. I then used the adjustment brush to make the signs of the shops more clear. I used the tone curve to make the foreground darker so the viewers eyes would travel down the leading line of the street and end up at the burger restaurant which is bright.

I used the tone curve to increase the brightness of the bottom left of the corner, as it was rather dark in the original photograph. I then increased the vibrance to +48 of the entire image to get a bit more colour but not too much as that would make the walls too yellow. Using the adjustment brush, I increased the clarity of the three shop signs that are hanging down, and for the 'Printing & Special Gifts' sign, I also increased the saturation a little, to make it stand out more.
